Mr. R. Srinivas Rao – President
As the president of VRDS, Mr. R. Srinivas Rao has played a pivotal role in establishing the organization and steering its growth since its inception in 1997. With a strong passion for rural development, especially in areas like women’s empowerment and child welfare, Mr. Rao brings a wealth of experience and vision. His leadership ensures that VRDS remains rooted in its mission to uplift communities and foster socio-economic development.
Mrs. K. Lakshmi – Executive Director
Mrs. Lakshmi has been a driving force behind the strategic direction and program development at VRDS. With over 15 years of experience in non-profit management, she has spearheaded numerous initiatives aimed at education, health, and women’s empowerment. Her ability to manage complex projects and build strong partnerships has significantly contributed to the organization’s success in reaching rural populations.
Dr. S. Madhavi – Program Coordinator, Health & Well-being
Dr. Madhavi leads our health and wellness programs, ensuring that underserved communities receive adequate medical care and health education. With a background in public health and experience working in rural healthcare settings, Dr. Madhavi designs and implements health camps, awareness programs, and hygiene initiatives that improve the well-being of women and children.
Mr. V. Ravi Kumar – Program Coordinator, Women’s Empowerment
Mr. Ravi Kumar is dedicated to improving the socio-economic status of women in rural communities. He oversees our skill development, vocational training, and legal aid programs. With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by women in rural areas, he works closely with local communities to create programs that foster self-reliance, independence, and leadership.
Mrs. Shanti Devi – Program Coordinator, Child Development
Mrs. Shanti Devi leads the child development programs at VRDS, focusing on ensuring that every child in our target communities has access to quality education, health care, and protection. She works with schools, local authorities, and community leaders to advocate for children’s rights and create safe learning environments that promote holistic growth and development.
Mr. P. Suresh – Finance and Administration Manager
Mr. Suresh is responsible for overseeing the financial management and administrative operations of VRDS. With his expertise in accounting, budgeting, and financial planning, he ensures that the organization’s resources are used efficiently to support our mission. His work is crucial in ensuring that the organization remains transparent, accountable, and sustainable.
Mrs. Geetha Reddy – Senior Trainer, Vocational Training
As a senior trainer for our vocational programs, Mrs. Geetha plays a key role in providing women with the skills they need to become self-sufficient. Her background in teaching and hands-on training in tailoring, embroidery, and computer skills has transformed the lives of many women, enabling them to start their own businesses and achieve financial independence.
Mr. S. Venkat Reddy – Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator
Mr. Venkat Reddy coordinates our community outreach efforts, ensuring that VRDS’s programs reach the most underserved populations. He works closely with volunteers, community leaders, and local organizations to mobilize resources, raise awareness, and facilitate program implementation. His deep connections within rural communities help us create a lasting impact.
Ms. Anita Rao – Legal Aid Coordinator
Ms. Anita Rao leads our legal aid and advocacy initiatives, providing support to women and children who face legal challenges related to property disputes, domestic violence, and other issues. With her expertise in law and her compassion for those in need, she helps empower individuals to assert their rights and seek justice.
